Burnsfest! Music Stage

Rozelle Park, Ayr

This weekend sees the latest Burnsfest! which celebrates Scottish live music at this FREE family festival held at Rozelle Park in Ayr. The music tent is only one of the highlights of a great day of music, comedy and culture for all ages. here's the stage times as they currently stand although as always they will be subject to some change.

1.00pm | NORTH ATLAS

Kicking off the show are North Atlas - a Scottish alternative rock band with hard hitting drums, gravelly electronics and Biffy Clyro influenced vocals.

2.00pm  | THE KINKS EXPERIENCE

Local band The Kinks Experience will  take to the main stage as one of the most musically and visually accurate Kinks tribute acts in the country.

3.00pm | TIDE LINES

Heavily influenced by the traditional music of the West Highlands and Islands, but whose highly eclectic sound is driven by acoustic and electric guitars, with drums and keyboards. You do not want to miss Tide Lines unique sound!

4.00pm | BMX BANDITS

Oasis played their first UK tour dates supporting BMX Bandits while Nirvana legend Kurt Cobain once said 'If I could be in any other band it would be the BMX Bandits'.

5.00pm | THE CHRISTIANS

We are delighted that hit makers The Christians will be joining us at Burnsfest! as part of their 30th anniversary tour. The Christians will be treating us to an exclusive acoustic performance of songs such Ideal Worls, Forgotten Town and When the Fingers Point. 

6.00pm | THE RISING SOULS

The Rising Souls music is a punchy and intoxicating amalgamation of rock, blues and soul. Think meaty riffs. Think intricate grooves. Think soaring vocals and explosive stage presence. The Rising Souls are rising to the top at an alarming rate and are currently one of Scotland’s leading unsigned bands.

6.45pm | Taylor and Boyle aka Fingal and Angus! 

Look out for a special comedy interlude on the main stage.

7.00pm | MARMALADE

UK chart success for this band sometimes referred to as the 'Scottish Beatles' began back in 1968 with Loving Things and continued with hits such as Wait For Me Mary Anne, Baby Make it Soon, Relections of My Life, Falling Apart At The Seams and OB LA DI OB LA DA.

8.00pm | THE SILENCERS

With an eclectic combination of songs including Painted Moon, Scottish Rain, Wild Mountain Thyme, Answer Me, I Can Feel It and the huge European hit Bulletproof Heart - The Silencers will headline the festival with their unique melodic blend of pop, folk and traditional Celtic influences.
