Ayrshire offers the visiting golfer perhaps the finest collection of links golf courses in the world and with it comes easy access, quality accommodation, fine dining and a history and heritage to match. But it's not just the Open Championship names and seaside courses with affordable parkland courses throughout the county and some great value golfing tickets to be picked up.
Ayrshire hosted the 2016 Open Championship at Royal Troon and regularly hosts other big events. 2017 sees Dundonald Golf Club hosting both the adies and Men's Scottish Open Championships in July.
