This promotional proposal is being pulled together by Plan B Digital who currently operate and market WinterStorm in November and South Beach Sessions throught the year.
With an increase in the number of live music events and festivals planned for 2020 we are proposing developing a joint marketing campaign that will support the independent marketing of each of the events specifically within Troon Concert Hall. The initial marketing strategy for 2020 will be to produce both digital and printed material support to promote to both the local Ayrshire audience and the wider entertainment tourism market - the key benefit being that each event assists in the cross marketing of each other event and the wider the distribution the greater the ongoing benefits for all.
The first phase will start simply with a Troon Live promotional campaignon and off line.
- Feature Box advert on A5 (or 1/3rd A4) leaflet with a print run of 25000 copies for distribution throughout key outlets in Troon and the rest of Ayrshire
- Each event will be given 1000 of the leaflets for their own distribution
- A4 Poster version for shops and display
- Creation of Troon Live webpage with feature boxes linking to each event
- A dedicated search optimised page for each event featuring header image, feature content, links to webpages, booking link and social media and image gallery.
- Optional online store entry if required with booking fees only.
- Social media promotion of all events on Facebook pages, Twitter and Instagram.
- Email promotions to Plan B Events database on a monthly basis (minimum)
- Ensure distribution and accurate listings on main channels including The List and VisitScotland
- Set up of www.troonlive.co.uk and www.troonlive.com to provide a simple link to this page in future.
Additional joint advertising opportunites make sense for the short and medium term including full page entries in local publications, news papers and event channels. These will be looked at for the spring.
The initial cost for the above will be capped at £75 plus VAT per event featured for all of the above. The plan is then to review as we go on.
