Ayr Train Station

It is situated on Smith Street, off Burns Statue Square. The station opened in 1886 and now consists of 4 platforms, tickets office, seated waiting area, pay car park and snack kiosk.

Regular train service runs to Glasgow taking approx 55 minutes stopping at Prestwick, Prestwick Airport, Kilwinning, Johnstone, Paisley Gilmour Street and Glasgow Central. Train service to Stranrear available from Ayr train station linking up with the Stena Line Ferry to Belfast.
